POWDER COATING

Since 1999, the company has been offering its products in "Powder Coated Finish" based on customer's requirements, and remains a leader in the manufacture of Powder Coated profiles in the Caribbean market.

Our Clear Polyester TGIC powder free powder coatings are designed for decorative/functional applications, combining outdoor durability with excellent mechanical properties and specs as mentioned below according to ASTM standards:

										Painted Extrusions Spec.: All coatings are tested at 2.5mil (63.5 microns) thickness on iron phosphated CRS panels specified AAMA 605.2.

WOOD FINISH ALUMINIUM

CANTREX is the pioneer in the Caribbean in providing wood finish decoration in aluminium profiles which can be used for fabricating windows, doors, furniture etc. They are powder coated to withstand external weather conditions of the Caribbean as required for Architectural Products and then decorated with wood grains finish. We can also provide special effects such as Marble, Granite etc. if the customer so desires.

We use Qualicoat approved electrostatic powder coatings in Polyurethane and / or Polyester and then use a sophisticated Siblimation process to effect the decoration required. We use sophisticated Italian machinery and employ high quality raw materials for powder coat and sublimation from Europe to ensure our products are able to withstand the severe weather conditions of the Caribbean.

We are offering this decoration on our profiles right now and in the next few months, by January 2009, we could be able to offer the same on flat and embossed sheets.

MILL FINISH

We manufacture aluminium extrusions generally in accordance with spec BS 1474 or American standards as normally used by American extruders as per thickness, alloy selection etc.  We normally use aluminium alloys of 6063 or 6005 depending upon the application.  However, for special purpose requirements, we can also use other alloys as required by the customers.

When we produce, we keep in mind the stringent weather conditions of the Caribbean such as rain, hurricans, sunshine year round etc. and manufacture a durable product.
